Cotco's "eXtra Bright" Blue LEDs featuring the latest in InGaN/SiC Die Technology

The Cotco "eXtra Bright" Blue utilizes the most recent innovation in InGaN/SiC technology. This process combines highly efficient InGaN materials with a Silicon Carbide (SiC) substrate in a geometrically enhanced vertical chip structure, to maximize total light extraction. This material also incorporates a current distribution layer that requires only a single wire bond for increased reliability. This die improvement to Cotco's High Brightness LED family greatly enhances the performance of a broad range of applications such as decorative lighting, full color video screens and automotive lighting.

With luminous intensities of up to 12,000mcd, the "eXtra Bright" Blue LEDs from Cotco provide a brightness that is up to 50% brighter than products currently available on the market today. The "eXtra Bright" series is available in 5mm and elliptical package styles.
