Marktech Optoelectronics today announced the availability of its Cotco's Domed Lens Power SMT LEDs. The LM2 Power SMT series offers high reliability and is ideally suited for effect lighting applications. They can handle forward currents up to 70mA in a domed lens PLCC-4 package measuring 3.2 x 2.8mm. The LM2 series utilizes high efficiency InGaAlP technology which makes it suitable for many designs requiring low power consumption such as backlighting, automotive signal lighting, marker lights, display and task lighting and an ever expanding array of signage applications. The cost-per-lumen advantage of these chips makes them an excellent choice for LED applications requiring uniform illumination.
